Sarem was born in Maryland, and grew up all over the world. Having been born and raised in a multicultural family, he has always been interested in current events, world politics, and history.

After receiving his Bachelors degree in graphic design and marketing, he attended New York Film Academy and continued his education in film.

In 2005 Sarem set up Pictographix Pictures, an independent film production company and has been working as a Producer/Director for various projects.

Sarem’s feature documentary work include Searching For Answers, The Forgotten, and Plainclothes Agents.

Today Sarem continues to work as a graphic artist and a filmmaker in Los Angeles.

Some of Sarem’s favorite books are See No Evil, The Alchemist, Clash of Civilizations, Warrior of the Light,

The Kite Runner, and Les Misérables.

Some of his favorite films are Crash, GodFather, Braveheart, Eternal Sunshine, Finding Neverland, Citizen Kane, Vanilla Sky, and Children of Men.

And finally, Sarem’s favorite quote is: “The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge” by Stephen Hawking.
